We spend day & night in authentic mayan reserve Lacan-ha incl. trek in rain-forrest. Itinerary
Early morning transfer from Palenque to Mayan kingdom of Bonampak with the only one best preserve "wall paintings" in the whole Mayan world, then short ride to "pueblo" Lacanha, site where Mayan ancestors live up to date in close proximity with breathtaking nature of rain-forest. Short jungle trek with local Mayan guide, free afternoon in the Mayan village, full board.Night in mayan reserve in cabaňas (very simple cottage)
Another great experience for you will be a tour of the exceptional archeological site of Uxmal, one of the most important centers of the Maya. You will see a number of magnificent buildings: the Governor's Palace, the Magician's Pyramid, the Turtle House, the Palace of the Governor and the Nuns Monastery, which is considered to be the most perfect building of the so-called Puuc style. (VIDEO): After the tour, visit "Choco Story" - museum and tropical garden with the history of cultivation and a demonstration of chocolate production, including a tasting of this traditional Mayan drink, a shop with chocolate products. Then transfer to Mérida, where we will see the monuments from the colonial period in the Plaza Mayor. Overnight at a 3* hotel in Mérida.
In the morning departure from Merida and then a tour of the largest and most famous pyramid complex on the Yucatan Peninsula, Chichen Itza. The most famous building is the Temple of Kukulcan, also called El Castillo. you will also see the Temple of the Warriors, a playground for the sacred ball game of pelota and a well of human sacrifices. This is followed by a short drive to the stylish colonial hacienda Selva Maya and a swim in the beautiful Saamal cenote and a buffet lunch with Yucate specialties. Departure to Playa del Carmen overnight stay in a 3-4* hotel with swimming pool and breakfast about 5 minutes from the beach or for an additional fee in a 4 * hotel directly on the white sand beach with an all-inclusive program.
Playa Del Carmen - 4 days of perfect relax at the sea, and in the hotel (5 minutes next to the beach)
Freetime in the morning followed by the transfer to the airport and flight back to Europe.
